The Role


As an Operations Technician, you will:
  • Execute and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment to ensure job deliveries align with company processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Travel to offshore and onshore locations as required to support and execute operations
  • Ensure the consistent application of HydraWell’s Best Practices across all tasks.
  • Demonstrate a proactive commitment to HSSE and Compliance best practices, leading by example and holding the team accountable for learning from all incidents.
  • Actively promote safety initiatives and compliance campaigns to maintain a high standard of operating discipline.
  • Follow HydraWell’s Policy for Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality.

Key Responsibilities


Your responsibilities will include:
  • Manage logistics processes to meet customer requirements and ensure compliance with procurement, packing, and waste standards.
  • Proactively identify risks and implement controls to manage and mitigate them.
  • Continuously seek and implement improvements through robust QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) event reporting.
  • Embed HydraWell’s Values and Behaviours within the team, demonstrating them through daily interactions and deliveries both internally and at client sites.
Be visible and active within the organisation, maintaining open communication with employees to foster a motivated and enthusiastic workforce.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: At least 5 years in the oil and gas industry required, with well site experience preferred but not limited to
  • Education: A university degree or relevant certification, however, substantial experience may compensate for formal education.
  • Expertise: Strong communication, leadership, and cooperation skills; proficiency in English and possibly the local language; ability to use basic software tools like Microsoft Office.
